Having Faith Through The Storms Of Life

Do you have FAITH to believe that whatever you're going through will be a lesson or blessing?

    I know sometimes it's hard to see God through the storms in our lives whether it's job loss, death, failed relationship, illness, people who we love walking out of our lives, or not getting what we want. It is during the storms of our lives when we learn to Trust God. That's when Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" come in. When we acknowledge that; we can move forward because He'll direct our path.

  Reading the bible has transformed my life in many ways and I pray that you take the journey. It taught me things I needed to work on mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically, & financially. Devotionals are the easiest way to get started there's so many. My mind began to shift and see things the way God intended. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans 12:2.

  At the time I read a devotional on Dating with a purpose which changed everything I'll share the link below. I was going through things in my relationship which were out of my control. God said only He can change people. After praying, reading, meditating, & fasting God told me that He loves me, I was more than enough, He has a plan & purpose for my life.

   My relationship goals importance shifted to a better relationship with God.  Which is why I created my purpose before partner shirt. I needed to focus more on my purpose and not just a relationship. I went to a SHIFT (Sisters Hoping In Faith Together) vision board party where I created a vision for everything I wanted & we prayed over it. Some examples of other goals I set were travel, financial, spiritual, fitness & family.

    Following Christ leadership has helped me alot how to think, how to feel about myself, what it means to know God, what it means to love and forgive those who have done wrong, being compassionate about those who think, look, or act different. God is love & a relationship with Him is important. Always seek God during the storm you'll find peace, have Faith, everything you need is in you, & trust that All things work for your good.
